Whatever makes you feel the most comfortable. There’s absolutely no need to go out and buy anything new before trying on gowns.

Most of our dresses have built-in support, including structured cups, boning, and corsetry. If a gown doesn’t already have it, we can often add an internal “seatbelt” or corset to your gown in alterations or with our designers to help give the dress the right fit and shape. Because of this, there’s no need to bring shapewear or Spanx.

Our biggest recommendation is to wear light or nude-colored underwear so it won’t show through lighter fabrics like ivory or crepe.

Other than that, just come ready to have fun, be open to trying different styles, and enjoy the experience of finding your gown.

We get asked this often, and many brides tell us they assumed our store would be very expensive. While we love creating a luxury experience, we truly want every bride to feel welcome here.

Our bridal gowns start at $1,250 and up, with many of our brides finding their dream gown in the $2,200–$4,000 range depending on the designer and detail. We also carry By Watters, which offers more simple gowns, shorter styles, and options that begin at a lower price point.

Our goal has always been for our brand to feel elevated, but for our brides to know that regardless of your budget, you are absolutely welcome here.

We also host two large sales each year before new collections arrive, where brides can find incredible gowns at special pricing. Those events are always announced on our social media, so be sure to follow along.

Absolutely. Many brides feel pressure to book appointments at several different bridal stores, but the truth is you don’t have to.

There are only so many silhouettes, fabrics, and design elements across the bridal industry. What matters most is finding a boutique whose style, designers, and overall aesthetic align with what you love, and going in with an open mind that you might just find the one.

It’s perfectly okay to shop around if that makes you feel more comfortable, but it’s also completely normal to visit just one store. In fact, many brides tell us that visiting too many boutiques can actually create decision fatigue and make the process more stressful than it needs to be.

The goal isn’t to try on the most dresses—it’s to find the dress that makes you feel confident, beautiful, and excited for your day.

Not necessarily. A store having more gowns doesn’t always mean a better or more thoughtful selection.

At The Vogue Veil, we are very intentional when choosing the gowns we carry. We don’t keep dresses on the racks just to say we have the most inventory. Instead, we carefully curate our collection with the newest styles and designs that we truly love and believe our brides will love too.

Our goal is for every gown in the store to have a purpose — gowns that are meant to be tried on, loved, and chosen, not just collected to fill space.

A well-curated boutique often means you’ll spend less time overwhelmed and more time finding the one. 

Absolutely. We tell brides all the time that while this is our business, this is one of the most special days of your life. We will always do everything we can to make sure you have the dress you love for your big day.

If needed, we are willing to sell gowns directly from our floor, even if it’s one of our best sellers, so that you can have the exact dress you fell in love with in time for your wedding.

We also carry designers who offer quick-ship options, and if those gowns are currently in stock with the designer, we can often have them delivered within a much shorter timeframe.

No matter your timeline, we’ll work with you to find a beautiful solution so you can walk down the aisle feeling confident and excited.

Yes! We proudly carry two designers who allow full customization, meaning your gown can truly be designed with you in mind. Whether you’re wanting to adjust sleeves, raise a neckline, add coverage for modesty, or make other personal changes, many of our gowns can be customized to fit your vision, preferences, or religious needs.

One thing that’s important to us is transparency. If you choose to customize your gown, we only charge what the designer charges us for those changes. We’re not trying to make money on customizations — our goal is simply to help you have the exact gown you feel confident and beautiful in on your wedding day.
